As a PHP Developer in our team, you will be responsible for:

• Developing the VMS system and modules

• Keeps time plans and sprints (we define sprints together in the team)

• Releasing new modules (we have test environment and production environment)

• Take part in the architecture of the systems together with other developers

• In case of break down, help to get up running

Technically, we expect you to have:

• Professional experience in software development using PHP for APIs, Backed

• Professional experience of Codeigniter, Lumen (for future Laravel)

• Professional experience with API design and programming techniques • Professional experience with MariaDB, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Node.js

• Professional experience with Linux (some services run on Linux)

• Experience with analyzing and understanding legacy code

• Experience with Postman and automated testing scripts

• Experience with JavaScript and DHTMLX

• Experience with Mercurial, Atlassian Jira

• Knowledge about planning and implementation of development strategy for large systems

• Focus on software engineering best practices (testing, clean code, code reviews, etc.)

• Knowledge or architectural best practices

• Knowledge of modern development principles and practices

• Problem-solving and communication skills

• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment

• Willingness to share knowledge and best practices within the team

• Fluency in English

Important is we do not make projects but develop modules we can sell to customers. This means our modules and system must be designed for long term use with high grade of stability and usability.

We have over 2000 GSM devices connected to our system with 2 ways of communication. Devices control our equipment and logging data etc.

All our systems and services are running on 12 virtual servers. We moved lately from physical owned servers to Cloud Factory and now use their backbone for new installed windows 2019 servers and 2 Linux servers.
